This was a tea sachet packaging project that we were privileged to work on. The client approached Bloke to help create the design packaging for sample sachets to market their products as well as social media templates which the client could edit and repost.
To create foil based packaging for single tea sachets consistent with their current box packaging, while bringing something new and refreshing for the new client but also to introduce new clients to the existing brand of tea's. To create the feeling of interest and to give value to the customers while creating unity with the client and the customer.
We had created 6 print ready packaging sachets and a social media template for each of the products to be posted by the owner in order to remain connected to their clients.
Bloke had several remote meetings with the client to establish the goal of the project. We had concluded that they need an enticing design on the packaging in order to get people to try the tea's. We had done market related research and found the best way to make Indiza Foods stand out. We had gone deep into the far end for the correct paper material needed for the print process in order to match the brand identity.
Defining the brand creates an objective roadmap and a decision filter for the client to make the correct choice for the new company. This was important to keep the brand consistent, focused and loving going into the future. During the defining we recognised that we needed to add something to the value of the free sample and we did this with interesting facts pertaining to the client's product on the sample packaging itself.
Once a creative tone was set matching the client goals, the team quickly went to work to capture this new brand identity of the sample sachets. Working together with the client we then created the packaging and social template posts so that new customers may try these samples for free and to enjoy the value that each tea brings. Bloke recognised the need for the customer to realise that these are indigenous products to South-Africa and what the healthy benefits are of the product.
